Sunwave, an international mainstream provider of mobile communication network construction and mobile Internet information services, is pleased to announce that the company has won the tender for the project of Malaysia Kuala Lumpur MRT Line2(Sungai Buloh–Serdang–Putrajaya Line), which encompasses Commercial Mobile Telecommunication System Solution(knowing as “CMTS”) and related support services.
Sunwave deployed its first CMTS in Malaysia’s underground public transport system in 2017, when the Kuala Lumpur MRT line1 opened. With Malaysia having multiple mobile operators and multi technology, the mobile coverage solution for MRT Line1 has to be multi-operator and multi-technology, 24/7 monitoring system and close to maintenance free as access if highly limited once in operations.
“Sunwave found to be professional, technically competent and responsive in their delivery of the project, and the quality of work and performance met our expectation,” commented Project Director Dato . “Sunwave’s Crossfire DAS was implemented to their satisfaction and has performed well in operation since July 2017.”
After successfully cooperation in MRT Line1, sunwave been one of the first echelon candidates of MRT line2, and got the tender and customer’s trust again.
The length of MRT Line2 is 52.2km with 37 stations. Once fully operational, Line 2 is anticipated to have a ridership of more than 500,000 passengers/day. It will further improve the chronic traffic congestion currently faced on the city streets of Kuala Lumpur. And Sunwave is proud its solution service more users well.
