X3RU stands for Extra Power Remote Unit 3.0, which is an extra power remote unit of SUNWAVE’s 3rd-generation CrossFire platform system (CrossFire 3.0). It connects A3/E3 through fiber optic cables and converts the digital signals received from A3/E3 into RF signals before transmitting them through an antenna. One X3RU supports 4 channels, supporting multiple frequency bands and flexible networking. It can support ORAN by upgrading its firmware.
