      The CrossFire Access Unit A2 chassis provides a traditional head end interface for analogue RF signals from up to four 3GPP band modules fitted to the chassis, plus optical signals using CPRI. The various downlink signals are digitized and integrated into CPRI to be transmitted via optical signals to CrossFire Expansion Units (EU) or Remote Units (RU) to distribute the cellular signals into the coverage area. The unit applies the downlink signal processing in reverse for all uplink signals to provide a conditioned analogue signal via the 3GPP Band modules, or optical signals using CPRI. Configuration and monitoring of the Access Unit is possible through direct or remote access, using both wired or wireless options.

       The Sunwave CrossFire is the most flexible DAS platform available, featuring remote optical units with power classes from sub 0.1W to 5W, 20W, and 40W by different technology model, all driven by the same headend over a single strand of fiber. Our modular amplifiers cover every band used for commercial cellular communications, ORAN radio, and public safety from 400 MHz to 6 GHz.
